Your Insurance Renewal

Thank you for choosing to renew your insurance with Roots Contractor Insurance. You have been directed to this page because your renewal premium has been calculated and your renewal invitation has been issued. By selecting the payment link provided and completing your payment, you are confirming that you wish to renew your insurance policy for the new period of insurance, subject to the terms, conditions and premium detailed within your renewal documentation.

 

Before You Make Payment

Please ensure that you have carefully reviewed the following renewal documents before making payment.

In particular, please inform us if since you last purchased insurance from us and/or let us know of any changes:

  • your personal and business details have changed;
  • the activities, occupation or business description are no longer accurate;
  • the sums insured, limits of indemnity and cover levels continue do not meet your needs;
  • all information previously provided no longer remains true, complete and accurate;
  • there have been changes that may affect the cover or premium.

If any information is incorrect, incomplete or has changed, please contact us before making payment. Changes to your circumstances may affect your premium, the terms offered or your eligibility for cover.

 

Your Duty to Take Reasonable Care

When purchasing or renewing insurance, you are required to take reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation. This means that the information you provide must be accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Failure to do so could result in your insurer:

  • changing the terms of your policy;
  • charging an additional premium;
  • reducing or refusing a claim;
  • cancelling the policy; or
  • treating the policy as if it had never existed in serious cases.

Paying for Your Renewal

Payment will be processed securely using Stripe, our trusted payment provider. Once your payment has been successfully authorised:

  • your renewal premium will be collected;
  • your policy will be renewed (subject to acceptance by the insurer where applicable);
  • you will receive confirmation of your renewed policy and updated documentation if this has not already been provided.

Please note that making payment does not alter the policy terms, conditions or level of cover unless these have already been agreed with us in writing.

 

Need to Make Changes?

If you need to:

  • amend your policy;
  • add or remove cover;
  • update your business activities;
  • change your contact details;
  • discuss your renewal; or
  • advise us of any material changes,

please contact us before completing payment.

Cancellation Rights

If your policy includes a statutory or contractual cooling-off period, details of your cancellation rights, together with any applicable administration charges or insurer charges, are set out in your policy documentation and renewal information.

Privacy and Security

Your payment is processed securely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption. Roots Contractor Insurance does not store your full payment card details. Any personal information you provide will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
